Libby's StoryWe received a letter from a young woman who came to us after having had an abortion. She writes:Thank you so much for your recent letter. It was truly heartwarming joy to hear from you and to know that I am still in your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate the information regarding the Bible study and look forward to attending a session soon, as my heart still aches over the abortion. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this time as I am experiencing severe medical complications. I don't know if you recall me mentioning that something had gone awry during the abortion procedure. I was diagnosed with a blocked arterty, which was a direct result of the abortion. It has been stressful and I am still undergoing tests to determine the best course of treatment. I think back to walking out of the abortion clinic wishing I could change what I had just done. The overwhelming emotion of regret consumes me still. I am an example of the maxim, "You reap what you sow." Abortion is such a permanent decision with incalculable lifelong consequences. Was the abortion worth it? NO! I will be in touch soon. Please do me a favor. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share this letter with those who are contemplating an abortion, as it could be life saving.
